I am
as comfortable working with consumer brands (B2C) as I am working
with companies who sell their services to other businesses (B2B).
Clients include The Boston Consulting Group, Shop.org, Finali
Corporation, SmartMoney.com, WURLD Media, Martian Entertainment
and The NPD Group.
Prior
to beginning my own freelance practice, I was account director for
the New York-based Interactive practice of Cone, Llc. While at Cone
I implemented highly successful public relations campaigns for such
companies as SmartMoney.com, Shop.org, Office.com and BMG
Direct.
My strategic and tactical expertise resulted in extensive media
coverage for my clients in a variety of leading business, trade
and consumer media outlets, including The New York Times, Wall
Street Journal, USA Today, The Industry Standard, InteractiveWeek,
Advertising Age, Fortune, Investor's Business Daily, Financial Times,
U.S. News & World Report, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, PBS Radio and
many more.
Before
joining Cone, I began my PR career at David Kratz & Company
(now Magnet Communications) in New York. While at Kratz my responsibilities
included managing, overseeing and implementing business/trade and
consumer public-relations for clients like CondeNet (Epicurious,
Concierge, etc.), KBKids.com, CareerPath.com and The Industry
Standard magazine.
Prior
to diving into PR, I worked on the advertising side of the "image"
house
for such companies as Saatchi & Saatchi, Anderson & Lembke,
Shell/Mullaney. Former clients include SAP, Computer Associates
and IBM Corporation.
I
grew up in Iowa and graduated from Cornell University with
a BA in English. I have lived and worked in New York City for more
than 15 years.
